Sur le plateau du Roumois, le lieu-dit Moulin Vaquet à Honguemare-Guenouville (Eure) était occupé entre le VIIe et le Xe siècle par un village, habitat rural polarisé autour d’une nécropole probablement dominée par une église de bois. La fouille de ce site par la MADE sur 8 600m2 complète celle de l’INRAP à quelques centaines de mètres. This report presents the results of a second series of excavations carried out between the oppidum of Boviolles and the ancient city of Nasium. It affects an occupation dated between La Tène D2 and the beginning of the augustean period, characterized by a causeway linking the two entities, a level delivering traces of artisanal activities, wells and a cooking kiln. This occupation is also characterized by the presence of the Roman army embodied in many militaria. This presence is central to the issue of the development of the ancient settlement of Nasium.
